Pastor Williams is the Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Clemson, South Carolina where the church’s motto is “Reaching the Lost, Teaching the Believer, Making Disciples for Christ.”  Through his Ministry at New Hope, the Lord is doing a great work in the life of the membership.  During the past three years, several ministries have been organized under his leadership. Those ministries include: The Marriage Ministry, The Senior Citizens Ministry, The Senior Stewards Ministry, The Health Ministry, The Evangelist and Outreach Ministry, and The Media Ministry. Under Pastor Williams’ guidance and leadership a website for the church was developed as another tool to reach out to the community, sick and shut-in, and to maintain ongoing communication with his members.  Under his leadership, Annual Woman’s Day and Men’s Day were extended to three-day Conferences filled with power-house preachers, training, and workshops.  Additionally, the church membership has increased and spiritual growth in the body is apparent.

Pastor Williams has increased New Hope’s participation in world outreach and community missions. He is very active and committed to his faith-based affiliations. He is aggressive in his participation of The Union #2 Division of The Seneca River Missionary Association. He is a member of The Greenville and Vicinity Baptist Ministers Fellowship. Pastor Williams often says that being good stewards for God means being of service to people and helping the less fortunate.  All honor and glory for these accomplishments is given to God who is the Ruler, the King and the Redeemer.

Pastor Williams lives by the Sword of the Spirit (reverence to the Bible) as he instills in his flock each Sunday Morning “This is the Word of God. It’s called the Sword of the Spirit. It is my Spiritual Weapon. I can do what it says I can do. I can be what it says I can be. I can have what it says I can have.   Devil… I’m armed and dangerous!  Devil… I’m going to tear down your kingdom and take everything back that you stole from me! Now let’s give a hand clap of praise to the Lord!”

Pastor Williams is dedicated to his calling. His favorite scripture is” I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Philippians 4:13.  His desire is to see men and women saved at any cost.  That means going into the hedges and highways compelling men and women, boys, and girls, to come on the Lord’s side and live a righteous and just life. Pastor Williams believes in going out in the community and reaching out to those outside of the church walls.  He is only a voice in the wilderness telling people about Jesus and all He’s done for him.  Pastor Williams proclaims, “It’s not about me, but it is all about Christ  He loves God and he loves God’s People. Our Pastor is fun and loving. He relates easily to the youth as well as to the seniors. Pastor Williams is excited about the works God is doing, the works God has done and the gracious works he’s going to do in the body of New Hope Baptist Church.  Through God’s Saving Grace we know we can “reach the lost, teach the believers, thereby making disciples for Christ.“
